you should be able to use the fan, of course the biggest advantage of the fan is fuel saving and extra power, but the fan also runs faster than the engine fan at tickover and when moving, you've got the fan and ram air through the radiator, so they do just as good if not better job of cooling than the original. I've got a vauxhall cavalier fan on a home made mount on my series 3 and it does a great job of cooling the engine.

the bolts going into the pedal box from inside go into captive nuts so try to get them out if at all possible and refit with plenty of copper grease, as for the bottom bolt, should be nice and easy once the pedal box is out, also, whilst its out, take the oppurtunity to thoroughly clean ad paint the bulkhead beneath the pedal box, cos plenty of people will have missed the filler hole and got brake fluid all down the footwells.

my stereo is wired to the ignition switch. I have off, acc, ign and start and im certain its the original switch I took the fusebox out and found that the fan was controlled by acc position and there was a spare spade terminal on back of the fuse so i used this as the swicthing feed on a relay and took power to the stereo through the relay.

i bought one and i did feel that it was a bit flimsy, didnt actually get a chance to bend it though, i found a 1978 wheel from a triumph of some sort at an autojumble, cost a tenner and its a genuine astrali one . They dont make them like they used to, the astrali wouldnt bend if i drove the landy over the top of it im sure.
I want more info on a full softtop for a 110 CSW
