FYI just copy and paste the URL from your browser straight into the box like you would any other text and it sorts it out itself.
Thanks , I’ve done it before and its worked but I must have been doing something wrong this time as no matter how hard I tried it wouldn’t do it , probably me having a brain fade !
anyway @ jeremy996 sorted it for me 👍🏻turns out I can’t do what I wanted anyway as my 110 has been sorn’d for more than 5 yrs (10 actually !, how time flies when your not getting your project finished 😬)
I was looking into saving my MUD reg for another day as I’m considering selling ALL my Land Rover stuff and buying a Hilux (sorry)

Thank you , I tried putting the link in but couldn’t make it work so came on to post having written it all down but you beat me to it so thank you again
-
I’m sure I read somewhere That it is now possible to take a cherished reg off of a non mot’d vehicle , anybody here have any experience of this ?
ps : I know I’m being lazy by asking rather than looking
any help gratefully received
cheers , James

Why? Just because a well maintained Defender can be good at speed doesn't mean the new one isn't better.
All recent Land Rovers are in another class to the old Defender at speed - but they should be, they are far more road biased and they're expensive luxury cars not workhorses.
Because it infers that the “old” Defender is a bad handling piece of carp , which it is not . I’m not saying the new one isn’t better on the road , at £40k it should be !

You must only drive on perfect motorways then...
No , I’m a farmer

I take issue with “never before has a Defender felt so composed at speed “
ive never had an issue with the handling of any Land Rover model I’ve owned , every one of them capable of being hustled along . It’s one of those presumed Land Rover traits that I’ve never understood and I find quite irritating 😠

Yeah, a lot of economy UK/EU front wheel drive vehicles have (not live) beam suspension at the rear too. It's the front that causes most chaos with the road manners.
Not just economy models , the sport models are usually a beam rear too

I’m amazed they’ve built it so heavy ,especially after all that’s gone into make range rovers and discos so much lighter
-
Why does it weigh 2.4 tonnes ???

There are valid (and legal) reasons why people don't necessarily want to be tracked by companies. There are people, quite a lot of those protecting their respective countries, where phones are turned off well before they get near their place of work. Ironically that in itself gives away some stuff.
Fair enough 👍🏻

So you saw the “ very stable genius “ talking about the virus ?* It’s hilarious, how anybody can’t stand behind that idiot is beyond me 🤪
*(I only ask because I can’t open it for some reason ?)

I’m still down with the idea of ID cards and I totally get why others oppose the idea which is fair enough , each to their own , AND I totally understand that the major problem with such a system is a police force that gets out of control and we become a police state . So it won’t ever happen anyway.
Back to the pandemic , New York State has it bad , more cases than any country (if you believe China’s figures , which I don’t ! Also countries like Belarus that claim they have no cases , their president claimed they don’t have it because you can’t see it flying around 🤪
talking of which
-
Yeah crack on 🤣
-
Well that’s the problem isn’t it , that’s why it’ll never happen , isn’t Boris a bit of a loon anyway ? Corbyn definitely is 🤣
-
Regarding tracking movement, I’d cards etc etc , I’ve always thought that the only reason for someone to oppose them is because they have something to hide ...............

Yes a nice cheap simple vehicle for the commercial user , no doubt BT and the like are knocking down Land Rover’s doors to get their orders in 🤣
