Hi, just tried that and still dead. Some of the relays have the same code number so even exchanged some. anything else? Could it be the ignition lock? the solenoid of the starter dies not make any noise I checked and there in no current there so gues it it immobilized. pleade suggest what else to do.

I admit I did not take them out but jiggled them and made sure they were well inserted. Will do as you suggest with some contact cleaner. are all relays the same, in case I could exchange the one for the starter motor with another?( is the second one from left to right, looking from the door the one for the starter?) I saw if there was current at the thinner cable of the solenoid, with the ignition on, and there is none.

My 2008 Puma will not start it was working fine and then did not start. checked the battery and it was not good so changed it ( this battery was checked snd it is ok), and the car will not start. The lights go on, the dash too, but it will not crank, and the solenoid does not make any noise. I think it is inmobilized but don’t know how to check if it is that, or how to get it out of that stage, or what else it could be ?( the ignition lock?) Appreciate your help

Hi, wonder if you can help me. have a Defender Puma. Worked fantastic but suddenly will not start. Check the battery and it was poor so changed for a new one. It will still not start. The light go on, the dash goes on, no crank, no sound of the solenoid either. How can I know if it it got inmobolized or if it another problem? If inmobolized how can I reset it.
