the rod is sat in front of the diff as such it sits about 3/4 up the front of the diff pan , its is not a inch from the highest point tho as the diff pan is rounded think it will hit on axle twist

im having problems fitting a panard rod on my disco im fitting volvo portals , realy struggling on where to put the panard rod is there any one hear thats fitted volvo portals that can help me out ? pics would be nice i can just fit it behind the PAS box , it will clear the locker acuator but at ride hight it is just over a inch away from the diff casing , this seems to close to me any help /pics please

id agree with that iv built 2 sets of rims with garys beadlocks

still not finished at the moment its all tacked together , just making all the parts up and making sure it all works properly before i blast it with the welder

yes mate thats me , my mates shogun blow the rad hose on the way down so ended up towing him there then i blew diff number 1

looking for the best place to get braided brake line i want to make my own so can i buy it on a roll ? my plan is to make lines that run down the chassis and then down the front hockey sticks will need two down each side as im running twin lines to portal brakes

looks good what have u used ? looks like you have ball joints on the hub endwhat ones are they ? did youu fit the axles yourself what probs did you find ? got any pics of the other side ? when i was test fitting the volvo arms that i have they were in the way of the panard rod mount the chassis

im in the middle of fitting volvo portals and coilovers on my disco iv got most things sorted , started to look at the steering linkage is there anyone here running volvos on a landy ? how did u do your steering linkages ?

i had a m20 bmw turbo diesel in my disco , its the older version of the p38 motor i still have the convertion plate to mate it to a lt77 but id not recomend it for a off road truck , it has no low down power if u rev the s**t out of it it went realy well on the road of road it keeps stalling and makes it hard work it did sound the dogs tho , i had a straight through exhaust on mine

how do iv got a disco running a bmw motor its the earlier motor tho , so very simple with no electrics , lots beter than the p38 . i had a deisel p38 and theres far to much elecs on it the set up came from a rrc im running 37" boggers , lt77 gbox and a 1.6 lt30 on the road it goes ok , thing with the bm motor it revs lots , iv seen near 6000 rpm from it ! but theres not that much low down , thing with the early motors is they had smaller turbos so the boost comes in earlier off road u need to keep the revs up or it dies , im looking at changing to auto tho so it aint gona be a problem , or i may pull it all out a go v8 auto !!!
