  1. would it be possible to swap the front hubs over with my range rover classic??? thanks
  2. hi, ive just bought a b reg 90 fitted with white 8 spokes painted in what seems to be a generous lashing of dulux emulsion, which let its looks down, so id like to fit a set of alloys to it, i know that many lr alloys will not fit the rear drums, but will fitting spacers mean that any lr alloy could be fitted? thanks, oli

  6. hi my range rover has a tuned discovery 200tdi in it. it was running fine until a few weeks ago, now it doesnt like revving. when driving, it gets to around 2500-3000rpm and tries to cut out. the turbo is working fine, you can hear it whistling. i just took it for a spin around the fields and took it for a quick run down the road, it seemed flat, and again wouldnt go past 3000 rpm, i took it into the yard and kept it running at 2000rpm and it kept revving up and down slightly. i assume it is being starved of fuel. I treated it to a new fuel and oil filter a couple of weeks ago in the hope it was the fuel filter, however it has made no difference. the primary filter by the tank has been bypassed so it cant be this. anyone had the same problem? its getting annoying now......... any ideas, thanks, oli

  10. hi im looking at lifting my `73 range rover. whilst browsing on ebay for something suitable i came across these spacers for £55 i dont think theyre expensive compared to £200 for new springs and shocks. does anyone have these spacers fitted? they have the spacers for the rear shocks unlike many other kits any suggestions on a better kit, do these look ideal? thanks

  13. erm yes the brakes are stuck on with the engine running and without. i recently removed the wheels to put some new ones on and yer they are stuck on all four corners, and whenever i push the brakes down they are rock hard i have just tried and there seems to be no movement in the brake pedal when the engine is started, and there was also no hissing when i just tried i have owned the vehicle for 2 years nowand the brakes have only started to do this a few months ago, the brake pedal is also returning normally any chance that pushing the pistons back manually would cure this? (with pleanty of wd40), is there a chance that these may be seized? , i am 16 and only use the vehicle occasionally for offroading so alot of the time the vehicle is sat in the yard hope this helps thanks
  14. hi can anybody help me the brakes on my 1973 rangie are stuck on.. the problem started with a hissing noise from above the brake pedal whenever the brakes were applied, and the pedal now refuses to go more then 2cm down. i have checked and there are no visible oil leaks, does it sound like its drawing air in from somewhere? i was going to bleed them this weekend but thought id better ask you guys incase id be wasting my time any ideas? thanks oli
