  1. I'm going to be fitting HD springs and new dampers, going to replace the major bushes with poly bushes. And as i can get a set cheaply i thought be worth doing.
  2. Well not really going to be doing alot of major off road, more like soft road and road driving. Going to be more like a rally car then a go anywhere car. So i dont really see how they will hinder me and if they will only make a small difference that better then nothing at all. Lots of small differences can all add up to a big change.
  3. Hi I'm looking into fitting front and rear anti-roll bars to my disco. When i was looking under the car i can see where the bar clamps bolt to but no where the link would. So i would like to know is this bracket something i'm going to need to weld on and if so where can i get this bracket from? Thanks Dave
  4. Buying a discovery 2 - thousands.... Make a discovery 1 handle well - thousands.... The the big smile put on the face of the owner of a discovery 1 that handle just the way they want - Priceless!!!
  5. Yer the springs are shot as it sagging on one side but the bushes look good as they are not cracking. I was thinking of using standard hight springs but with a higher spring rate to give it a firmer ride. As for articulation i'm not going to need the large amounts of movement so the fitting of anti-roll bars should be fine.
  6. Hi This is my first post and to be honest in a way i'm new to land rovers. So I have a 200tdi disco which at this moment in time is standard. I will be using it mainly on the roads but with blasts down woodland tracks and ex-army land. I wont be doing any rock climbing, sailing or mucking around in deep mud in it. What i would like some info on it what suspension setup to have. I've got in mind a 1" drop on the springs, uprated shocks, install front and rear anti-roll bars, incress the track by spacers or wider wheels, nd my be in the future poly-bush the lot. The more info the better and some idea as to where i could find parts would be great. Thanks for your help Dave
