Now for the next niggle....Like i said in my first post i have a '95 Defender 90 and to say the least the Dash light is some what DIM!! I have candles that shine brighter!!.....Going down unlit country lanes and it's any guess what speed I'm doing or what the temperatures up to and as for the time, well it's after dark! that's all i know.... can a brighter bulb be fitted? have looked for an adjustment button like one modern cars that alter the brightness, no such thing on my motor. Or is it a case of, Be grateful for what you've got, in some country's they don't even have CANDLES! And please dont suggest using the candles I can never fin a lighter when I wont one

I apologise now if this has been discussed before as I'm new to this site, yes I've tried the search. Knowing me doubt i entered the right info. Anyway i am now the proud owner of a 1995 "M" Defender 90 Hard Top, for the most part it is very tidy and i am more than pleased with it, As always with second hand stuff you find in time you either want to personalise it or iron out any niggles. So here's mine......I have 1 key that fits the ignition, drivers door and back door...But does not work the passenger door!! I am not technically minded and seldom have time, I Had been told it may be possible to take out the offending lock barrel and possibly strip it and make the key work!?! (Patiance i have none) Is it possible to buy/obtain an ignition and x3 door lock set using just the one key??? Genuine part would be nice (and pricey at a guess) After market if that's the only option is fine. I've got a sneaky feeling this wont be the first and last time I'll be asking for advice on here. From what I've seen so far there are some very knowledgeable members on here....Thanks to all that take the time to read this.....Cheers Mutley
