Hi all, changed the oil on my w reg Td5 90 today. When I bought the filter from paddocks I ordered a short filter , when I got it it looked to small I thought, ok my mistake so ordered another filter which was a Bearmac type. So dropped the oil got the old filter off.gggrrrrrr????? eventual . When to put the new filter & I just couldn't get in the right position to screw it on , more ggrrrrr. So checked the length & it was about 10mm ish longer than the one I removed. So at this point the old one was not going back on so I checked out this short one & it flew on . It's about half the length of the old one. DO WE THINK THIS SHORT FILTER OK FOR THE JOB ??? After all it is sold as A TD 5 short filter . Help !!!

Ashcroft shafts have a 5 yr warranty so you break it they replace it .

Will these senders fit the engine ok .??

Hi all having issues , I have just swapped out my 200tdi manual in favor of a disco 300tdi. Now here my issue the temp is now reading in the red , I have changed the sender but no change. I have measured the temp with a separate temp gauge & it's way lower & the water is not boiling. Are 200. & 300 gauges not compatible???? Any help ..

Thought I had expand, I don't need a key start any longer, I have replaced it several times , but I keep jamming it up with cap in deep water & washing it off. So I thought put a push button starter on up higher so a bit more out the way.so no key.... no dash sped ext. I got the push button set up . If I could have a ignition light that would be great. Pic shows what I am working with. Thanks

Scotch lock was there from before my time. It's only easy if you what's what & where it goes . With light would be preferred . I can wire most things like lights , fans ect , using relays & solder joints bla bla, but I am not to sure about this. Thanks.

Hi all, just a little help to configure my new starter button on my 200tdi tray back . I have the push switch set up & the 4 wires that are in place now on the key starter, just need to know how too please.. 4 wire on ignition are Brown solid White solid White red tracer White orange tracer. Pic below to show what I am trying to achieve.. the little switch panel I have has 2 switches 2 lights & 1 push button. Thanks in advance, Kev.

My 200tdi is now a full off rd truck so most of the switches are redundant except I still need wipers. I thought this would be easy to sort , got myself a Durite 646-50 wiper switch , remove old wiper stalk unplug the wires cut cut cut ....rewire to new switch in new position ........................ much head scratching later & no better off. Original switch has 6 wires new only 4. How do I get over this please ...

That's how I have been doing it fella with no probs. just lock out the fuel pump. Done my 200 a few times & done my lads 300 just last week.....man up...lol

Has anybody any info/ experience on these, thinking about fitting one to my 8274 . My budget can not stretch to a full GP winch. Any info would be great. Thanks.
