Hello people Sorry to bring up pipe benders again........... I have about £600 put to one side to buy a bender that will bend 2inch tube so i can start building me wings cage etc etc Just not sure whats best and where to look, Any help would be great, also wanting a notcher. Thanks again

mine just a challange 90. so it will be slow work.

How would you go about runing the pipes to the rear, looking into fitting one in the rear of my 90

its still only has the standard air system, looking at 16inch wheels

ASTRO AL Its more i want the plates at the right shape ( bent to shape of the tub ) I dont have the tools at home to bent flat plate. in respect to building a cage that will be strong, that wont be a problem. Thanks people i have sent a e-mail to QT.

Hello people Am looking it to building a cage for my 90 but i have been trying to find some where i could buy the plates that you use to fit the cage to the tub? Any 1 have any ideas?

went back to the dealer today as i needed some more bits and bobs, gave them the number for the plugs and he said thats the wrong number but i know what you want and went away and came back with a core plug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Asked him to try the number he seem to go abit red and said or them wading plugs i will get them for you. Landrovers are so let down buy the dealers!!!!!!

the tyres arrived at d44 on friday.......................... but ................................ no 35*10.5*16 et's they say simex havent sent them for sum reason must say tho i rang up and lost it abit ( i know it wasnt there fault ) but tim bent over backwards to sort somthing out for me, hes senting me a set of et's but 11.5 inch wide least i can use my 90 for the first time

was at the dealer and they say they dont make them no more because the holes are there to let water out, couldnt get them to understand that the plugs are for wading so all the carp doesnt get in. Showed them the hand book saying to fit the but he said it was wrong

Hello people, I am really getting sick off this 90, am building a challange truck and have come across more problems. I used to use the truck for playdays etc and had no problems with low or high box, Been working on it now for a few month ( driving to work afew times a week ) Went out to play in the snow yday and went to use low box but it wouldnt engage, took it home and pulled the rubber off that covers the two selectors and it seems that the transfer box selector wont go far enough farward to engage in to low. I pulled the trany cover off and the seat box cover. had abit play with the splined shaft on the selector but still no joy. When i had a good look at things when it selector is in hi it is in its normal position but when i move it as if i want to engage low i have to move the selector as far farward as possable for it to disengage, therefore i cant move it in to low range. Also when i had alook at the lever that goes into the transfer box it has alot of movment, When you push that lever back as if you want to engage low range the lever hits the back of the transfer box but it seems if i cant move it back far enough to engage low This it what it looks like when hi is engaged at only this point it disengeges hi range and still no low at this point Can anyone please help, starting to think about selling up now

When i was at billing last year the people from iceland had a few trucks over, they had a disco 2, does any1 have any pictures or info on it? Thinking about building mine to look somthing like that.

What you mean shame its a V8, Love having the power, Dont use it offroad any more ( hardly use it on road for that matter ) Going to finish my 90 then start the work on it again got a few new ideas for it.

Hello peeps, me and my dad have been doing abit work on the 90 today and he has come up with the idea to use the box we have to make a cage, i dont really agree with the box so i thoet i would ask way and show him the reasons why no body uses box, All the 90 gets used for is play days and greenlanes, His arquement is its better than having nothing!!!!!

Hello I am looking for new tyres for my 90 simex are out of stock in most places so i have been looking around for other tyres and have come across pitbulls, Will be looking to stay with 35inch tyres width dosnt really make much difference. Has anyone seen pitbull is mud etc and what would you go for? Thanks again!! Merry Xmas
