  2. As some of you may remember reads90 posted up a pic of a disco 2 runing 37" tyres etc. Sent him a pm asking if it would be possible for him to buy the mag with it in and post if from aus to the uk. Nothing was a problem and i got the mag today. Just want to say a big thankyou!
  3. Thanks people Intercooler shouldnt be a problem as i have moved the rad back and to the left away from the steering box i have orderd a different cooler that is 600mm wide but only 150mm tall so it will mount across the top of the rad, looking at keeping the winch sitting between the rails of the chassis the top of the winch should be below the bottom of the cooler, therefore the cooler will be in direct flow from the grill. Was thinking of making some sort of box to dirct the air to the intercooler and rad so it doesnt escape hitting the cooler and rad.
  4. Hello people I am having a daft day and have had a idea but am abit unsure if it would work or be strong enough. I have moved the rad on my 200tdi defender so i want to move my 8274 as far back as poss, so was thinking could i cut off the front crossmember part that the rad sits on and make somthing like whats on the back of devons 110 Like this http://www.devon4x4.com/component/option,c...ject,1/entry,11 hope you understand what i mean. Probs so many reasons why i cant do this but no problem asking. Thanks

  15. Hello mate and welcome. I used to have a disco 2 v8, would have thort it would be the same as a td5. To get the lift i fitted mine with old man emu dampers and springs on the front, as for the rear i used old man emu dampers but kept the airbags. the lift the rear the is a hight sensor bolted to the to of the radius arms i just fitted a 1inch spacer so it lifts the sensor arm up. i found this to be spot on. ( d44 stocks the dampers and springs ) never touched my abs cables or my brake line tbh. had a look at them when i fitted every thing and there seemed to be loads of slack it them, i used mine offroad for a year or so with no problems. Loved using my d2 offroad tbh had thort of bobtailing it!

  20. I am making a 3-link set up just of my own to save having to buy all the qt set up as i have my own dampers etc The parts i was wanting to get from qt was the arms and the mounting plate to fit then to the axle. The castor corrected ones will still hit the brakets on the axle ( or am i wrong ) Thanks very much.
  21. Hello ppl When people are building long travel suspension how do you get around the problem of the front radius arms, looking at mine the std ones hit the brakets on the axle before you get much travel. I have been trying to look into the qt front radius arms that come in the 3-link kit but after a phone call and 5 e-mails i still havent got a price for just the parts. Any help would be gr8. Thanks Russ

  24. Hello ppl Am in the middle of rebuilding me 90 and have thort about moving the rad to the rear. Few questions i am abit unsure about Whats the best route for the pipe work? Will i also have to move the header tank to the rear aswell? As the 200tdi rad has a oil cooler would it be best to route the oil pipes to the rear aswell or just put a stand alone one in the front? Thanks yet again.
