  1. I'v got a similar series and I'm insured with Adrian flux, Footman and James would insure me for a few hundred more and most others I tried wouldn't insure me at all.

When I put the 200tdi in mine it raised the insurance about £150, but over a year will save about £450 :D

  2. I run Rocky mountains on my lightweight, 3 leaves on rear, with longer shackles I find the back flexes an impressive amount and handles great on/off road but does eat the bushes in a few years.

The front barely flex at all and sit a bit lower than the rear which is understandable with a winch and bumper, So I'm looking to try different para's on the front!

NB: If you do have extended shackles then lower your bump stops appropriately as I didn't first time and killed a set :(

  3. If the axle rotates under load doesn't the axle twist up so making the prop UJ's run a shallower angle? although when bouncing around I see your point!

Do your stage 1 axles run the same sort of angle as normal series ones? as disco axles twist up more so must help with props, I guess?

  4. Any update on this? Iv got a Disco 200tdi in my lightweight and contemplating a shorty r380(this should put the gearlever closer to original position I think?) then mod Disco axles to fit on the Parabolics, or just disco diffs and zeus discs(but ££££)

So this is all very interesting to me :)
