Hi there it's me again!! I'm going to replace my uj's on both front and rear prop I was wondering is there any alignment I should be aware when I putting them back on? And I notice on my front prop that I can see nearly 1inch of the splines! But it's not seized it looks that the dust cap had just come off and moves backwards! Is that fixable it's dry as well!
Thanks

hi thanks very much there's no play in the sliding parts just near the uj's. if i get the upgrade one i guess they will fit no problem..

is holding the prop in the middle and going back and forward will indicate any play in it? and what do you mean by siezed? the only thing i notice now is that there's loads of play at the UJ's
thanks thierry

hi anyone know if when you order a propshaft does it comes with both UJ's or do i need to buy them seperately?
thanks thierry
-
hi there i did mine yesterday evening after work took me a couple of hours but it's easy enought as long as you take your time and pay attention of what you are doing you'll be fine. the only tricky part is to seperate the cv joint from the stub axle but it could be easy if place in a vise! i've taken pictures of disassemble and reassembly with the new cv i'm going to upload them hopefully during the week.
p.s: that was my first attempt but with the help of the other lads so just ask for help if you are stuck

actually that you mention it it more like a click click click noise than a rattling it happen everytime i turn the steering completely to the right.... and feel loads on vibration underneath my seats when i hit like 50 miles per hour! is that the same cause or may be the propshaft not line up properly? thanks for helping really appreciate
