  1. Hi Hope someone can help, I bought some new (used ) 245 tyres and discovery wheels off ebay, as I got stuck in dry sand launching my boat, anyway on full lock they catch on the chassis at the rear of the tyre, I am sure I read somewhere that you can adjust the lock stops to prevent this fouling, anyone know how to do it and where the lock stop is. cheers john
  2. Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but I have just put some bigger wheels/tyres on my '85 90, the tyres catch on the chassis on full lock, I read somewhere about altering the 'lock stops', any idea where these are and how you do this. cheers john
  3. I had a core plug fall out of a 90 turbo deisel, I am a boat builder and I use epoxy resin all the time, I made some epoxy paste and gobbed it in the hole, worked a treat, you need epoxy resin (not polyester), some chopped fibres and some colloidal silica, mix the resin then add some fibres then add the silica untill it has the consistancy of cream cheese, clean and dry the hole thoroughly, then gob it in. You need to be carefull as the epoxy goes soft when re heated and needs to be cured at gradually higher temperatures until it remains hard at 80 degrees. google fibreglass supplies for where to get the stuff, remember polyester is no good, hope this helps
  4. Hi I hope that someone can help me, I have a 1987 90, it has an overheating problem, up hills the temp guage goes near the red downhills it comes back down again. About 2/3rds of the little filaments are missing from the radiator, so I thought I would replace it, how do you get the plastic cowl around the fan out? cheers john
