I do 420 miles a week to work and back and then what ever shooting I have at the weekend in a td5 110.

Ben you are a legend thank you, and it all makes sense now, for some reason the chap who was the previous owner has made his own and they are shockingly bad looks like a trip to LR parts tomorrow considering all the other brackets on the bulkhead are in place I don't get why he made his own ones.
Thanks for all the help guys and Ben you have just given me the next idea where my 6x9 speakers are going!

hey Ben sorry to be a pain is there a chance you could take a photo of yours, as something is not right on mine and I could do with comparing it with another. That's the one. -
you could be right, I need to get up close to someone else's double cab and get an eyes on the bracket in question I think.could be item 35 in http://www.numcat.ru/landrover/p/31/53664/ -
Hello chaps I am after the part number for the rear seat brackets that go from the seats to the bulkhead. I hope this makes sense and appreciate the help.
-
oh in that case I shall stop slagging off the previous owner and slag off land rover at their carp effort and securing the seats!! Thanks everyone. The double cab rear seats do not have any sort of catch.
They are attached to the bulkhead via a black painted piece of angle.

hey Ralph hope your enjoying gods own county over Christmas!? Those locking parts are they not for a 110 CSW as I think and I am more than likely wrong the double cab is different again?2nd row seat locking parts in http://lrcat.com/#31/4/53662 for later models.
if 3 individual seats http://lrcat.com/#31/4/53661

Hello chaps, I am after a favour if possible I would very much like a picture of the rear seats in a double cab as I believe the previous owner to me has installed them incorrectly in mine as there are two home made brackets on the back of the seats that attach to the bulkhead. So I would just like to correct where I think he has gone wrong as this 110 was previously a normal CSW and he has done everything else to a high standard.
Any help is appreciated.

I think it's in Coobe Bissett near Calne. They were advertising on Eblag a while a go. There is also one in a place called Minty near Cirencester.

Correct Ralph they are TSW driven by 2 MT. In the RAF now you will find more and more of this including TCW TPW etcno worries, reckon that fits the bill. didn't know RAF had those Oshkosh tractors, must be for the TSW forward refuellers. the navy have some at Yoevilton for the marines choppers. -

Sorry Ralph having a blonde moment lol

If you look in this link, you will see a picture with an oskosh and the elephant markings on the door. Also like my unit we have a swift over a nautical star on our green fleet wagons and this is done in matt black.

Maybe in your day Ralph but nowa day's if there is a spare spot on the wagon we will put it there, and 2 MT now put all there markings on the door's front grills and curtains on the 40ft trailers. They have their elephant carrying a log sprayed in matt black with no border.not usual for RAF vehicles to wear markings on the vehicle sides, 2MT normally only display that badge on the front grille of the HGV's. -
Was it carrying a Log in it's trunk. If so it's 2 MT of the RAF or as we call them "Tactical door slammers" lol.

I can always meet up with people if you don't mind me being on a quad bike!!!

in Defender Forum (1983 - 2016)

Hi guys I have been looking for the later spec rear door, and had some insane quotes from breakers etc even for a door with a dent that covers most of the door they wanted £300+ VAT and for one that was straight I was quoted £500 + VAT! What should be expecting to pay for one of these doors any ideas?
