hello, I've been looking at defenders to buy and have been offered a 1960s 109 which over the past 20 years has been rebuilt on to a new designa made coil sprung chassis, it has a 200 tdi engine out of a discovery, full cage and tubular front wing kit fitted, the truck is a bit battered, but solid, the truck is tax exempt, and a full file of receipts and pictures over the past 20yrs, so it seems to be 100% legal, I believe the chassis was changed in the late 80s - 90s, its only going to be used for weekends mainly, and off roading when i have the time, is there anything I should look at? just seems in better mechanical and chassis condition then alot of standard 110s I've been looking at.
