Late series 3 109 I never cease to be amazed what won't fit in my 88 but I do enjoy the later tweaks and mods like 5 bearing engines and improved break performance

Sorry to reopen an old thread but i ahve been googling this problem to no avail I have the ducillier distributor too & i have disturbed this toothed cam during replacement of the vaccum advance unit Does anyone know teh best method of setting this cam up again? many thanks

Hi, I had a strange problem last night with my 1982 Series 3 in that i could not engage any forward gears, reverse seemed to be a bit lose too & the reverse lights were very flickery I suspect its something to do with the detent ball/spring arrangement in the gearshift would that be a fair assessment? if anyone has any other ideas i would be welcome to hear them Many thanks in advance Ewan
