I would dump that set-up and look else-where for parts.
If some mods have not been completed correctly i would take it that ALL are not done correctly.
Why chance it?

I would think 20A would be suitable.
If you want to make certain find out which fuse controls this and you will know what it's maximum load would be.

Yes i bought a 110 CSW from there about 18 months ago.
Fair price, fair deal.
I would buy from there again. I do not say that often about used car garages so i found this to be a good one.

Can't you swap the polarity on the motor?
Swapping live and neutral on a DC machine changes it's direction of rotation.
Or am i missing a trick here?

There is always a "safe level" of tuning on any engine, some are 400 bhp others are 750bhp alot depends on how big your pocket is.

But if someone wants to do an unsafe act, surely as long as it doesn't affect others they should be allowed.

Not in this case, it was converted from a coupe at manufacture and the sills were beefed up a bit and a strut brace fitted behind the dash other than standard Vauxhall.

I used to run my 110 V8 CSW and all i can is fantastic so that's why i'm looking for another.

no roll over protection there, just a windscreen and some head rests.
I'm sure a 110 will be better than that.

With any engine that has a few years under its belt its impossible to tell what sort of life its had, engine and fuel parts made of had a harder life than those found in other vehicles of the same age.
It is due to this unknown element which explains why it will work for some and not for others.

They don't want it to run on veg oil because they got a back-hander from some rich Oil Tycoon in Arabia.
Also in 2 yrs they will release an engine solely designed to run on Veg Oil so it will make everyone go out and buy that one instead.

I was curious what aux lighting people have put in their Land Rover.
Inside and out and why they have it.
I'm just after ideas.
I do like those light bars that attach to the roof rack.
