  2. Hello, Sorry to post here but I cant yet post in for sale/wanted section. I am looking for the following tools from a member or a supplier who will send to France. 1) Viscous fan spanner for a L/R 90td and RR 4.6 2) Pair of spring compressors 3) Ball joint separator ( scissor type) 4) Hub nut deep socket 5) Needed but not urgent......Rivenut tool for up to 10mm rive-nuts. If any of you have these items that you want to sell, or know of a supplier who will send to France without charging silly postage could you please get in touch. (found one supplier in the UK for all but Rive-nut tool, total cost was £42.50 plus vat but p&p was £48.00.) Regards Philip
  3. Hello, I have a syringe with a 1/2 litre capacity that I purchased from my local DIY store here in France. I have been using it for 18 months now and the seals are still as tight as they were when I purchased it. Replacement seals are available if they should go, but as yet I have not found the need. Cleaning after every use is the way to go. I have been using it for deisel, EP90, and ATF plus the odd use of Engine oil. It will suck out or put in (if you get my drift.) I have found it the most clean and useful way to replace all oils in my vehicles. It is about 14 ins long with a 12in flexible tube on. The price was 28,00euros. If anyone is interested in one of these very useful tools PM me and for the cost of postage to the UK I am sure we could arrange something. Regards Philip
  4. Hello again, Glass arrived from Paddocks in the UK today (2 days delivery to France) took me 10 mins to remove old glass, used marine silicone sealant new glass in and sorted inside 30 mins. Thank you for your help...the hardest part was cleaning the silicone off the glass. Regards Philip
  5. Thank you very much for that.......sounds easy enough but knowing my 90 it will have some surprise up its sleeve for me. Btw. Hello to everyone, I am new on this forum. I have to say it is great to get an informative reply so fast, unlike some other forums I belong to. Thanks once again MoG. Philip4x4
  6. Hello, As the title says I need to replace the glass in my rear door. Have ordered new glass from Paddocks but wondered if any of you have done it before and can tell me exactly what is involved. It is a 1990 defender 90 no rear wash wipe or heated window. Thank you
