I promise that if you haggle with us - you will get a discount, but you might have to be persistent as I quite enjoy the haggling bit! Remember to stay polite and friendly whoever it is to and it will work!
Thanks for the tip. See you on the next show

Stazworks(usa) will make you some
Or these:

Also available for Land Rover. Not cheap though.
Plenty of Range Rover Classic and Discovery Series One wheels you can fit to your Defender also.

This is the correct spelling: http://www.lr-meteor.nl/
We also had problems with dad's TGV. Did great in the donor Disco on the 2000 mile test drive with only having 40.000 miles on the engine. After swapping it to the Ninety it dit great for 5000 miles also, until it died in just a normal 50 miles an hour drive on the highway. No signs of failing before, coolant temp and oil temp and pressure all ok. Brought the car to Prins Maasdijk, who discovered the last piston cracked in 2 pieces, probably due to a failing injector.
No warranty as third owner of the engine and no paperwork with it. But they did a pretty nice deal on a new TGV engine after leaving the failed one there.
Hope my own TGV, also out of a Disco donor, doesn't have that kind of problems in my 110. Is your car still in Holland? Might be an option to leave the car at Prins for them to check it out.
Good luck sorting out!

Have a look here:

Looks like im stuffed then and need to buy a defender r380 & tf.box?
-If the gearstick would be that far back
You can change the gearchange mechanism, as told here:
http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=37380
But it isn't just a bolt-on straight swap.

Rakeway has arrived:
Now it's waiting until O.R.C.A.'s clutch plate arrives.

You can mount a tank in the rear wheelarch also, just below your fuel filler. In that case you won't need any extra pumps and switches, as it just sits higher than the standard tank.
-
I was thinking making some like that also, thanks for the images to join the idea
Are you only mounting them to the rear crossmember, or will the front at the wheel be connected to the chassis also?
-
Try somewhere on the continent. Belgium, Holland, Germany, France, Italy... But you're not the only one looking.
A friend of mine has a complete dash and heater from a 1984 for sale, but he's not cheap either. People here are importing more and more UK cars so the demand for LHD conversion parts makes the prices go up to crazy levels also.
-
You can buy two LHD cars for that kind of money... Might be a bit rusty for that kind of money, but still makes these prices crazy.

Hi Gruntus,
Thanks ,three days an job done, would like to say did it myself, but i would struggle changing brake pads ah ah. alloys are ZU alloys
Nice work! Think your alloys are Predators though, aren't they?
-
For mine I took the biggest Momo one I could find, which is still way smaller than the lorry-like 4-spoke which was in it first.
I'd go 15 inch.

The rear axle linkage differs. The difference in wheelbase might be confused with the more rear overhang a D2 has compared to a D1.
Not sure on what the wheelbase on a D2 is though, but if it really is 108" you can try to fit it on an LSE chassis? Some early classics were lenghthened also, for example some ambulance conversions.

Ok guys, this is the list for the front axle:
Nice, thanks for sharing!

Mines an early 1984 110 casing, but want to go 24 spline at the front, rear 1984 Salisbury drums with conversion to discs planned. Still have to pick up the sals ARB on the other side of the North Sea to go in it...
-
Have decided on the Gwyn Lewis Challenge kit. And am going to fit my standard axles and build up the other axles once my trucks on the move and swap once completed. So ill basically start from empty casings, so ill definitely need that list Aragorn!
Just like the plan on my 110. Will stick with rear salisbury though, but converted to discs. Can the list be put online maybe?

Duncan is a nice guy to deal with.
And if they'll ever reply to my emails or calls I'll try LRSeries also

You can do galvanising instead of painting if you want to keep costs down.

A friend made me a KVU101160 . Here are pics and sizes for who wants to use them:

Don't know if it's a Ninety or a One Ten, but I can remember something about the weight rating on Freestyle alloys not being sufficient for a 110.
