  1. Hi. I have used three layers of adhesive plastic. Easy to install, just cut off excessive material, seals perfectly. Istantly ready to inflate tire, no waiting for silicone to dry. This plastic is made for coating school books etc. Low cost and available almost everywhere in grocery store here in Finland. I don't know do you have this stuff. Anyway works great.
  2. That aluminium regtangle is boltet from both ends to long nuts. Those nuts are welded to wheel. Fron fitting in middle of that alu is 90 degree air hose fitting and from that with rubber hose to valve. We did tuareg rallye last year ( approx 2000km) Front end CTI worked well. In rear end air hose was too long and snapped from both sides after 80km. This kind of " external " system is suitable for desert races only....my opinion. Those 90 degree air hose fittings have double stainless steel roller bearing and dust seals. Max rpm by manufacturer is xxx.... can't remember but equal to 100km / h with those 37 " pit bulls. Sorry about my english... try to do my best.
