Had quick look today, taken carpet an sound proofing out, all looks ok for rust at the moment, its bin repaired before couple plates tacked, chucked flask over windscreen waited few mins an drips started to appear from under glove box, still got isolate the leak an fix, but wait till I got sealant etc, but carpet etc up and replaced with an old bed sheet catch anymore rain we have, Thanks guys

can you use silicone or is it a certain product you use???

passenger side footwell soaked every time we have rain, i cannot find the leak anywhere, checked sunroofs an they dont seam be the problem (for once) doors windscreen etc, but no luck, any ideas or suggestions would be greatfull,

are the door keys diff to the ignition ones??? (newbie) i have a disco 1 95, but it only came with 1 key, and a fob for the doors, i was confused as to why it wouldnt fit the doors?

Service done glow plugs done, she sounds a hell of a lot better! Still kicking out some smoke, will have take her for a good run over the weekend see

Well done oil change and filters oil n fuel, forgot do the air one, got it just forgot put it in, do that tomorrow when I do the glow plugs, hope I've done the fuel one right with the pump an all, ( how can you tell if not) first time ever don't fuel one.

Newbie only had it few days, pulling off at junction or pulling off through gear change, it leaves a big black cloud behind, goes little sluggish, the only thing I can think is, I did fill the fuel tank fully an rest counter I always do with new motors, So thinking poss all the s@#t from the tank, n poss all carbon build up in the engine?? What do you think?? Any ideas please so will start with service an go from there,

I've downloaded it, but I carn't copy/burn to disc yet, may laptop hasn't got a disc drive, so will have to do it at my bro's. I remember reading on here somewhere about sockets I'll need, very few go above 20 ish, never needed them, but I carn't on the life of me find it again, any clues???

Do discos have a dip stick for gearbox oil couple people said all 4x4 have but struggling find it? Guys really appreciate it all, yeah man I plan on keeping it, but afraid it will have to be pay as you go at the mo an do it bit at a time, money gone really tight, what engine oil and gear box oil do I need??

any thoughts, the only way to discribe it, is a dry tappit sim sound, but its right by the steering wheel, now its suddenly started wereing when i turn corners like a mardy dog sound, any ideas

Hi fellas, I've finally got my first disco, got a few cluncks an creeks, but what can I say love it, I want give it a service,(prefer to KNOW its bin don't) with cars its easy. Oil and filters. But never gave one to a 4x4 where do I start and what do I need change, assuming there's more to it than a car, any advice please
