I have a 110 csw on a G- reg with self leveling unit on rear i need to replace the top ball joint on rear axle, I dont know the best way to do it with it haveing the self leveling unit fastened to it . Is there any tension on the self levelling unit if i undo it ,any help would be great

Has anyone got any pictures of there series which has been converted to power steering. Can i use a power steering box off a disco?? what steering column do i need mine is a series 3 with a 200 tdi fitted

Could i put 11 leaf on the front and leave the 9 leaf at the rear

Hi i have a 1983 series 3 which was originaly petrol it has 9 leaf springs on i have fitted a 200tdi engine to it and a big heavy mayflower winch to the front do i need to replace the springs with 11 leaf if so would this give a harsh ride i can not afford a full set of parabolic springs, could i fit parabolic to the front and leave the 9 leaf at the rear , any help would be great

It was the centre bearing i needed plus a couple of the ujs have you got the phone number for them, i was going to try a bearing supplier see if they could get hold of them

Go for the 200tdi i put one in my series 3 best thing i ever did Exhaust is easy make a flange and come out the side between bulkhead and bracket, fits to gearbox just need to re drill bell houseing at the bottom (some people dont bother)

Have done today they can not match it up looks like i will have to buy complete colum

I have took steering colum out and the bottom bearing is worn on it . it is a funny looking bearing but it defenatly has one any help would be apresiated as i dont want to buy complete colum

Hi mine did exactley the same i replaced the radiator with one from paddock and it cured mine

had the same problem on my 300tdi took lock out and the small spring was broken i had a scrap 200tdi the locks are the same i fitted that which cured the problem. As he said you can buy the springs on ebay to repair them

Thanks for your help problem solved it turned out to be a blown fuse in the fuse box

It has the immobliser on the stop solenoid it has the three wires. Isnt there a relay you can bridge the wires on to overide it?

the discovery is manual and doesnt have EDC it turns over on the key but wont fire the fuel pump is immoblised somebody said you can by pass a wire on a relay which gets around the problem can anyone help me with this problem

could anyone help i have a p-reg 300tdi discovery which has been stood for a while i canot get the imobliser off the vehicle has had a new battery put on i have replaced the battery in the key fob . somebody told me there is a way to bypass the imobliser could anyone help
