that would be the low pressure pas pipe from resivoir to pump leaking. mine is doing the same, just not got round to sorting it out yet.

spent 3 months of my REME career in the sheds at bordon sweeping! lots of very interesting vehicle in there!
-
is tidworth close enough?
-
-
if you mean you cannot unlock the door with the button by the window it sounds normal as my disco 2 does the same and also was the same on a few i looked at!
-
you could always move the battery into the rear of the vehicle. it will just need a battery tray and box making and then all the cables extending.

to go greenlaning around salisbury plain rather than just driving around the plain in work time! although it is more fun when it dosent matter if i break a work WOLF!
-

is this what you are after?

they are made by spanset uk, description: strop, towing to drg no 5/1629
i rang them today and they said they will sell to the public but only a bulk order! so maybe a club/forum buy would be good!
the measurements are: 32cm between outer edges of staples left to right
16cm between staples top to bottom.
i have pics but am having trouble uploading them.
-
top red ones are brake lights
bottom red outer lights are tail lights
orange are indicators
inner red ones are fog lights and the white is reverse!

right had the disco up on the ramps in work just coz i was bored and needed to locate an oil leak, and noticed that there are 2 wading plugs in the bell housing. my question is should they be fitted all the time? i know on other models you are supposed to remove them when no wading, but there is no mention of them in the manual.
cheers

right been offered a set of these p38 wheels, for free, has anyone got a set fitted to a disco 2 with a pic so i can see what they look like?
SWMBO said they are disgusting but might have them anyway. looks are not a factor in my books, but comfort is
my thinking is to get them a put some 255/70 r16 at's on for a bit of greenlaning and also save on buying tyres for the 18's i have now!
so any help greatly recieved

the way i check for play in the a-frame is with the vehicle on the ground get someone to rock the wheels at 3 and 9 o'clock as if you are checking wheel - bearing play, this will show play in the a-frame, also with the handbrake applied rock vehicle back and forth while laying under neath and you should she any movement present and this will also show play in the link arms too.

had a similar problem with my old td5 sometime would turn over for up to 30 secs before firing. sorted it by changing the injector seals which are cheap to buy but the injectors can be a pain to remove.
