Me sorry for the sarcastic post ... I do believe in laws of motion and I do understand your point. My point was that if you load your car like i did you drive safely to avoid such situations.... which is easy. if someone loads it like that and do find himselve driving to fast and can't avoid a crash .. it's his own fault, nobody has to feel sorry and we all laugh at the person There is a very big danger with a TD4 Freelander tho! ... that loaded like that it still can reach 130km/h easiely! (tried it out on a privat owned 4mile straight strip with no other vehicles ... honnest) ... but as I allready wrote ... I'll never load it like that again ... will go home to pick up the trailer next time definitily.

Hya, I've fitted them BFG AT 215-70-16 and must say .... they're good! did some 20.000km's wiv them and last sumerholiday a 3 week 5000km trip to Sweden on and offroad, mud, grass, sand, rocks.....and if I need new ones someday I definitily buy them again. They also go very well round fast corners btw Oh and please don't go for cheap ..... them 4 tiny pieces of rubber have to make you stop, go round corners and keep you on the road... .. I had my experience with them dead cheap nankang tyres ... and them f*ers nearly killed me

In what crash? did I crash? ..... oh boy, I've crashed and didn't even knew it Man, what do you think? .. that I drive around like an essex boyracer with that load in the car? You don't crash driving around like that ... you watch out, drive slowly and take them quiet roads back home. ... and I don't have children .... but I do practise alot tho, so maybe one day....

Hya, I've fitted headlamp-protectors 'behind' the light guards .... dunno if the sell em for your type FL tho.... Now (imho) it looks nice 'and' protects them light cheers

No it isn't .... ... incl the 2 adults it was about 850kg we've put in the FL. It didn't had any problem wiv it .... but I don't think we'll do that again tho

Hya, The whistle on my TD4 came from the hose you can see here wiv the red arrow: it had been cut by rubbing against the radiator ... and the air pushed out by the turbo made the whistle noise. Hope this is also your problem coz it's not to expensive to fix cheers B)

It does .... I removed te radio of my FL with wooden Saté sticks/pins (or how do ya call em in the UK) But the allenkey works aswell ... and you know they won't break that easy cheers, Dennis B)

Yeah, that's their way of saying that they don't have a clue what yer talkin about (if your police is the same as them w*nkers overhere that is) As it's one big happy europe now i think them rules are a bit the same now..... .. here it is something like if yer car is 2003/2008 then you can't have a solid a-bar and companies can't sell you any new ones. There are loads of lil companies that can make you a very nice one-off for the same price as normally a new one would cost you tho (for if your car is pre-2003) Buying a secondhand a-bar for your pre-2003 car isn't illegal .... selling your secondhand a-bar isn't illegal. (so WESTENDER could sell his to Declan303 if he wants ) Them rules are all for safety. With a steel a-bar you can kill someone instantly when you hit them .... with the foamyrubber one you hit them and they end up being a drooling nappywearing plant in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives costing us all shiploads of money without them getting better which is ofcourse much more humane. .... for real ... when it would happen to me I hope the bloke has fitted a full brushbar with winch 'n lights
