bagnew
Hi All, Looking for a bit of advice on my 2009 defender 110, any input welcome. We replaced the radiator the other day due to the old one being fairly rotten. Once it was in we put new coolant in then we started the car to bleed it up. It was idling fine for about ten minutes then it began to misfire heavily. We switched it off soon after and now it won't start again. It'll turn over vigorously but won't fire. Any ideas? We've checked fuel lines and it dosnt seem to be getting fuel to the engine but unfortunately haven't determined anything else. We also put a code reader in it but no fault code came up. Don't know if this is any help but recently in the last week I've replaced the water pump, heater control valve, rocker cover gasket and injector seals ect. Im unsure if by fitting one of these we could have tampered with something that could have caused the fault. We're really stumped on this one, any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Ben
dailysleaze
Hi Ben. Sounds more related to the other work you did on the fuel system. Pumas need a specific fuel bleeding tool for the job. Did you use this? See here http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic516.html
