Edgworth Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Did my Good Samaritan bit yesterday and towed a car out of a ditch. It’s the first time I’ve used low range on the 2003 110 TD5 dual cab since I got it in July. When I backed up to remove the towing sling, I put the hand brake on and the lever travelled almost to vertical but did work. What would have caused this and is it just a case of adjusting it again? western Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Probably pulled the cable out of the end fitting at bottom of the lever, remove the rubber boot & see if its still attached, may just be multistrands have pulled out or its snapped.
