New member here, I can't find an intro section so i thought i'd incorporate an "issue" thread with a "hello" thread lol A few weeks ago my TD5 developed an Idling/misfire/stalling issue, so with the advices from other enthusiasts i replaced the injector harness, this unfortunately didn't fix the issue.. After the harness, she'll sit at idle perfectly fine however if you try and rev it over 3k it seems to drop a cylinder and smoke like a banchee, it'll misfire for a while , but if you let it idle it burns off the oil or diesel and idles happy again... steve200TDi Posted February 9, 2020 Share Posted February 9, 2020 Is the fuel pump noisy? Normally things to check are the injector seals , the fuel pump and the injector loom.
