Joe1991 Posted March 26, 2020 Share Posted March 26, 2020 (edited) Hi all, Defender 90 and wipers have recently stopped working. When I flick the stalk I hear the motor running and if I give one of the wipers a push (to about 45 degrees) it will complete its cycle. Have checked connections on the motor and the fuse is fine, any recommendations on what to check next? Mutley Posted March 26, 2020 Share Posted March 26, 2020 Take the motor apart and see if there is anything worn and slipping, or is it's stiff/seized??? Check wiper spindle box hasn't worked loose where it holds the cable and is letting the cable run smoothly??? Make sure the wipers are not slipping on the spindles???
