14 CUX immobiliser help

The interweb is full of info but I can't find a straight answer.

Got a 97 Disco V8s (Australian spec)

Engine is going in a 99 Defender.

Disco has the 2 button remote, green box in left foot well.

I am going to  unpick the loom removing all unnecessary carp.

I want to do this while it is all still in the Disco so I can prove it all works before I swap.

So, what can I cut/chop from the Disco loom to get the ECU to be stand alone.

Don't want to add bridging wires etc, just eliminate all the immobilizer stuff.

Might Megasquirt in the future (FF)  ;) but for now just want stand alone 14CUX.
