Scottmc
Hello I have 300 tdi needing a new chassis I can get a genuine gkn chassis but it’s Tdci is it as easy as grinding off the engine and box mounts on the tdci chassis thanks in advance
Retroanaconda
You can cut the engine & box mounts off and weld new engine mounts on, your old gearbox crossmember will then bolt in. Or leave the Tdci gearbox mounts on (should be in same position relative to chassis) and use the Tdci crossmember. If it’s a 110 you might need to do something with the fuel tank cradle, and if it’s a 90 the tubular outrigger may be missing the tank bracket.

Retroanaconda
Yes, please do. We love a rebuild thread on here, and you’ll not find much that someone on here isn’t able to help you with.
