Sorry did not read everything :blink: Auto express rang me yesterday wanted me to have 6 issues for a £1 but I said was not into that sort of car covered by that magazine. also all the details are on the web now ..

How can the say a V50 is better than a V70 I don't know??

(for those of you that haven't quite realised Tim is a gay gimp boy with far too much tmie and money on his hands- no content with 2 cars he's got about 50 of the damn things)

Yep - I have to agree with you there Jim...

You must be the only person I know who has to have an LGV licence to drive an MX5 though... ;)

Road tests by car magazines or even specialist offroad mags are really meaningless when performed on new vehicles.

What is more important is reputation for longer term reliability and troublefreeness. In this regard the comparison is chalk and cheese.

In Australia the Nissan has an enviable reputation for being the most capable, reliable and mechanically bulletproof vehicle available, with high owner satisfaction. As the evolution continues the Nissan gets stronger.

Aside from a handfull of masochistic private enthusiasts nobody over here really rates the Pretender at all, and due to the very poor reputation for reliability, troublefreeness and user satisfaction that previous models have gained over the years I doubt too many will be willing to take a risk on the 07 models, no matter how good it is claimed to be.
