tedsmart Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 Hi all, I'm about to renew the upper suspension link ball joint gaiter, hopefully the ball joint will be OK when I take it apart so I'll just have to replace the gaiter which has split, as have the majority of all the rubber boots on the 110. white90 Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I'm guessing you mean the A frame ball joint. If you can get the rubber boot as a separate item then replacing will be fairly easy remove split pin remove castellated nut a few blows to the casting the holds the ball joint should see it free off , lift clear and change the boot.
