littleredtractor
Hello Im new here but i was wondering if any of you freelander experts could help me out i have a x reg 00 freelander 2.0 XEDI and the rear tailgate door window goes up and down perfectly but sometimes when i press the button it goes down bit by bit which is what i ask it to do! then other times i press it once quickly and the whole thing goes down! does this normally happen or am i doing something wrong! It used to work normally when i first got the vehicle but then when i accidently broke the back window and had it replaced by Land Rover it seems to do its own thing! Thanks in advance Meg aka littleredtractor
BogMonster
It may be the calibration of the window, though I have seen others do that as well so it might be just a "Freelander thing"
Llanigraham
Yep, it's a Freelander thing!! To get it partly down, press and hold until you want it to stop. You can only do this once each movement. To get it totally down, press VERY quickly or just hold it down all the way. And then of course...... ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ the bloody cable will break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
