LR90
OK, little OT as its for travel by sea kayak rather than 4x4 and a little further north than Ladoga but its probably a problem our portal boys have already solved. Friend at work is about to head out to Karelia. The area he is bound for in is a rectangle with corners at N66.48 degrees E31.2 degrees and N66.32 degrees and E32.51 degrees. This is in Russia, in Karelia autonomous republic, covering the lake Kukas (Kuukasjarvi) and several other lakes to the East. Does anyone have any maps that can be loaded into a Garmin gpsmap 76csx or even just some advise on how to load in suitable (bitmap) satellite images? His backup is laminated aerial photos and just transcribing coords from the GPS to the paper but moving maps would be a little nicer to work with.
