As Revor has said Jack Macs Hypoid diff replacements for LandRovers were based around the 8'' Hilux ring and pinions with some specially made ratios that match standard LandRovers ie, 3.54:1 and 4.7:1. Unless J Mac has rectified the fault in recent years avoid the 4.7's as they couldn't be set up correctly and suffered premature wear. Bill.
