vinny Posted July 31, 2007 Share Posted July 31, 2007 Im looking at an 04 DiscoII and need some advice. The biggest issue is the millage 140k.... but full LR history from new! Its a 5 door commercial converted by landrover special vehicles The car is very clean and drives well but "the gear change in third and fifth is loose" whats this likely to be? & roughly how much to fix? LR dealer does not mean its been well looked after I figured that The mechanicals dont scare me its more the electrics/engine(turbo, head, injectors.....)!! I had to confirm if id buy it by this morning so took the gamble and said yes. Its a step up from an 1987 90 truck cab!!
