Gromit
I've an full length intercooler here from a volvo 740. What do you guys normally do about the stays up to the bonnet striker, as they are right where the intercooler would logically go. I assume they are needed, so should I just make up some cranked B) ones, to go around the intercooler? ta muchly, specially if you've any pics of your install
BogMonster
I wondered that from the point of view of fitting a full size Brunel/Allisport as the radiator surround would probably be a bit wobbly if you took them out?

Yeah, I reckon that too, specially as my bonnet catch is a bit on the stiff side. What do 'proper' Allisport installs do?
Guest diesel_jim
my 90 has an allard full height jobbie in it... you have to remove the two upright (angled) support things to make it fit. i think that unless you're stood on the bonnet a lot, or carry a heavy spare wheel then you'll be OK. mine has been like this for 6~7 years now and no problems at all. mine is so tall that i can't fit the bonnet lock either... i use the military spring loaded hook jobbies. Hmm, I do actually stand on the bonnet a lot, as it's much easier getting stuff on and off the roof. The I/C I have here is 175mm high. I wonder will it fit without removing the bonnet catch. Oh, and where did you relocate the horns to?
