When i come to start my td5 sometimes it starts on the button and other times it will just click but if you keep turning it on off it could start anytime. I`ve had this problem before and replaced the starter motor so i know this is a good one. If the motor had teeth missing it it just wouldn`t start at all on the key but thus will after numerous attempts. I have replaced the lucas connector to see if it was a loose fit but this seems to have made no difference at all. Any remedies, ideas, or suggestions greatly appreciated. Nothing worse than a unreliable starter when you have to be at work for 5am and have four kids and a wife. Foxminer. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
