What is needed is a really in-depth explanation with diagrams as to how the carb actually works - fuel and airflows, etc. Does such a guide exist? By the way, grumbleweed, the idle speed screw is the one with the locknut on it to the outside of the engine on the throttle linkage, and the idle mixture screw is the brass one with the spring underneath it on the side nearest the engine.
