white90 Posted February 16, 2008 Share Posted February 16, 2008 Injectors with a very bad spray pattern can cause engine damage, and any kind of poor pattern will cause some loss of power. As far as the fuel, you should get an EGT gauge if increasing the fuel, especially on an NA engine. Put the probe as close to the engine as possible, like right where all the runners meet. You will get increased power by increasing fuel, but will also get increased smoke and higher EGT's. To counter this, increasing boost will lower both smoke and EGT's.
