Marjan
I"ve got problems with the exhaust on my TDi 300. Taken the middle section of exhaust off today to replace it and both bolts on the front downpipe collar have sheared off. What a stupid design to have permanently fixed pins instead of loose bolts through holes (like the rear one). So what do I do now?. Only thing I can think of is to grind the pins off and try to drill the collar or cut it off completely and try to get someting like this. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-Exhaust-Clam...1QQcmdZViewItem Any other ideas guys ???. Eightpot
Easiest thing is going to be to remove the offending section, centre punch and drill the welded bolts out, and use standard bolts instead. couple of hours work?
Def Rich
I agree with Eightpot, did it to mine long job but did not risk damage to the exhaust by cutting the clamp off.

Thanks for the advice, have done exactly as you said and got it all sorted this afternoon, really spooky that it took exactly 2 hours
