hattymender
Just got a box of Rust-Oleum 'Hard Hat' 2135 paint. 'Cos it was cheap. Anybody used it? Is it any good? Thinking of painting engine bay, inner wings and bulkhead, but can't find any info on temperature range.

Rust-Oleum Hard Hat is an excellent paint, I've given up with Hammerite and Smoothrite because of it chipping and flaking and now use Hard Hat for almost everthing. It's heat range isn't too high, but it would probably be OK in an engine bay, the data sheet for Hard Hat is here - http://www.rustoleum.co.uk/downloads/2100%...%20Topcoats.pdf The rest of their range is here - http://www.rustoleum.co.uk/ Paul. hattymender
Thanks for the answers, as usual I tried before waiting. It's excellent, but gives you a stinking headache even in a well ventilated (ie. freezing) barn. It's a bit bright in the engine bay now and when I do the undergear it'll be, er, noticable. At 50p a tin (tee, hee) seems good value......
