kingrat Posted April 25, 2008 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Can you fill the transfer box without using the filler plug. Mine's stuck in and won't budge even with a 2ft braker bar. tuko Posted April 25, 2008 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Yes it can, the inspection cover on the right top can be removed and you can fill the Transfer case till the oil reaches about half way up the gears. It maybe woth trying to loosen it again sometime after a decent run,Further warming of the casing in the vicinity of the plug with a blowlamp or similar will sometimes do the trick. bill.
