Peterla
I am interested in fitting the factory roof racks to my 200tdi disco. From what I can see they are bolted through the roof so I assume I will need to remove my ceiling trim to secure them. Is this easy to do or is it not worth doing and get some aftermarket ones. I like the look of the factory ones and will only be mounting swags on them. Any help would be appreciated. Peter
streaky
The only roof racks that required holes cutting in the roof were the original Camel Trophy Discovery Roof racks. These were then secured to the Safety Devices full length internal roll cages. Is that what you are going to fit? It seems like a bit of a big job just for the addition of a roofrack. I suggest you go for a regular gutter mounted jobbie. Regards. S.
