Matt S Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 Hi Land Rover say 102mph for a standard td4 (about 165kmh) If you are only getting 140kmh, (about 87mph) seems as though something isn't quite right. When the fuel pump on my 2005 td4 went I could only rev to about 3000rpm, and couldn't accelerate faster than about 75mph on the motorway. Now it's fixed (with a new fuel pump and air flow meter) it will happily cruise at 90 mph - I have never tried to max it out! Just a thought, because I guess there must be lots of other things to consider and maybe it's down to tyre choice or something like that...
