BogMonster
Possible, maybe, but easy or cost effective I very much doubt as the body structure is different on the 3 door and I think if you cut the hole for the doors you will find that there is nothing to fix them to! python
might be easier to buy m o t failure and rip that to bits, or just use the whole body.
maas
I thing is not necessary to cut the hole , just nead to use back panels from a five door. I was told that some 3 door bodys comes prepared for that, and we can see that in the chassis number by a letter B in the midle. That`s why I am asking if anyone ever tried it before. Thanks for help Regards maas
maas
A bit more info about chassis number mine is SALLJGAF8MA and if you check the body type mine is AF means that is "F = 4 door Crew Cab" and it has only 3 doors. BogMonster
Sorry but you have read it slightly wrong LJGAF is LJ - Discovery G - 100" wheelbase (they all are) A - this is the letter for body type your list gives Truck Cab, Soft Top or Hard Top (Utility body) F - 300Tdi engine I am not certain of the listing for the body types in your post (I think there are some others) but I am 99% certain that the Discovery 5 doors are all ...LJGBF... so I don't think you should proceed on the assumption you have made. I will try and remember to check it at work later...
