quasibonko
Hi, clueless newbie here, i have oil leaks from both my front hubs on my K reg 200 tdi, the oil is coming from behind the discs, i have had this leak for about two weeks now, going to fix them soon and was wondering what kind of damage i am doing by still driving. I was also wondering if the oil that's leaking is coming from the diff? At least if it is i can top my diff oil up until i change the seals. Any help would be greatly appreciated and i look forward to your assistance. Cheers, Paul.
JimAttrill
You need to change your hub seals, not a difficult job. Look for the way to do it in the technical archive on this forum.
MrCramp
It only takes a couple of minutes to lie under the Disco and check the front axle oil level. I us a pump action oil can to fill it up.
Les Henson
Your biggest problem is if the oil gets on the disc as it will affect your braking. This how to do it on a 90. Different motor, but the job is pretty much identical to do. http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=23658 Les.
