draper40
Hey, as some of you may know, I am currently rebuilding my destroyed 200tdi. I am partially following the 200tdi rebuild in LRo and they recommend sending the injection pump off for refurbishment by a diesel specialist- it cost them £165. Is this worthwhile and where might I get this done? Thanks Pete
Les Henson
I dropped my 300TDi item off at the local diesel specialist and it cost me £100 + VAT. There was nothing wrong with it, but they have to use specialist machinery/liquid to test it. At least they checked the injectors for free Les. draper40
The LRO pump was fitted with a new driveshaft, bushes and new seals before it was tested and calibrated. They reckon it makes a massive difference! So just a diesel specialist. any recommendations. i could always send it as it isn't too big or heavy. Les Henson
I use Dieselec here in Swindon, but you must have a specialist nearer to you that can do the job. http://www.touchlocal.com/nat/c-574-t-2540...rvicing-Warwick Les.
