hattymender
A friend's just bought a Freelander Nudge Bar from a car boot sale. Chrome thing made from (about) 2 1/2" dia tube with a lamp mountings. Would I fit it for him? Er, Ok. Where's the brackets? Brackets??? The upper mounting looks easy enough, it's the lower. The two tube ends appear to end at the engine protector plate? Doesn't look as if the connection could be made 'structural' so I assume it's just for cosmetics on lightweight brackets? Appreciate that it'd be helpful to know the make but he's taken it home, but I guess they're all much the same. He thinks it genuine LR part (I'm not much up on Freelanders) Anybody got pictures or fitting instructions? Cheers
BogMonster
All the accessory fitting instructions are on the RAVE CDs I think - somebody may be able to help or you could download them from one of the various sites. I don't have it installed on this PC unfortunately so I can't check.
WESTENDER
if the brackets have elongated holes then, yes the bolts are shared with the undertray, just went and looked under mine to make sure. The brackets on the nudge bar fit through two narrow slots either side
Guest diesel_jim
Here's the screen shots from rave showing the brackets and where they live:
