skid
Hi, Ive read somewhere how you can erase fault codes by diconnecting battery leads and shorting together for 5secs refitting and waiting 15mins.. then turn on as normal.. Cant remember which vehicle it was. Anyone else heard this or know the pos pitfalls from doing this??? Cheers

JimAttrill
That will fix some problems, but all faults have to be cleared with a computer. For example, if your TD5 ECU thinks your engine has overheated it will switch the a/c fans on. The only way to stop them running all the time is to clear the fault with a computer.
